{"id":175,"date":"2012-11-11T06:35:30","date_gmt":"2012-11-11T06:35:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/erv77346.com\/?page_id=175"},"modified":"2012-11-11T06:43:22","modified_gmt":"2012-11-11T06:43:22","slug":"about-rae-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/erv77346.com\/?page_id=175","title":{"rendered":"About Rae"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>EDUCATION&#8230;<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Rae Yeager, flute instructor\/performer, holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, where she majored in flute and minored in piano, graduating cum laude in June, 1981.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education (secondary mathematics) from the University of Akron, graduating in 1985.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>PRIVATE FLUTE TEACHING\u2026<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Rae has been teaching flute since 1975 to students from age 9 to 80-plus. Thus, she understands the challenges faced by younger students and adults&#8230; of all skill levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the late 1990s, she was a flute teacher at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. In the mid 1980s Rae taught flute to students in grades 7 to 12 in Mansfield, Ohio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Her former students have performed for the Akron Youth Symphony and the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra. Some have also participated in competitions at state and national levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>PROFESSIONAL PERFORMING EXPERIENCE\u2026<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Rae has performed ensemble work with piano, organ, guitar, woodwind, and harp players. She is former Principal Flute for both the Ashland (Ohio) Symphony Orchestra and the Mansfield (Ohio) Symphony Orchestra.
